They are my interests an reliable sources.

1. Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?

Some websites it was hard to find but others it was not.

Philadelphia Eagles, New York Rangers

1. What else can you use RSS feeds for?

You ca use RSS feeds to help with school projects.

1. How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?

More often know because I can get all sources in one place.

Google is Coming Out with a Search Engine For Kids 

Google is in the process of making a Youtube and Google search engine for kids. It is targeted for kids 12 years and under. Reports from USA Today indicate that Google was working on it. But Google could not say what products they were working on and when they were released. Google will make it possible for parents to oversee what their kids are searching. A Google spokesperson commented that the USA Today report is true.

Do Now 12/2

If I were to change the curriculum at WRHS, I would add a photography class. The class would meet in the cafeteria after 7th period. Students would learn the basics of photography and how to use advanced editing software. The class would be an elective. It would be taken for 2 marking periods.

At the end of the class, students would present their best picture to the class. They would use all the tools they learned to make it the best picture they had ever taken. Hopefully, students would take the skills they learned and use them when taking pictures.

1. What is the purpose of this Wiki?

The purpose of this wiki is to inform people about Disruptive Technology in the Classroom.

The last post was at November 7th, 2007 at 2:53 am.

3. How was this wiki created?

This wiki was created at wikispaces.com

4. What would you add to it?

I would add that not all the technology on that post is disruptive. It can be used in a good way.

5. What did you learn from it?

I learned that some technology can have more harm towards a student academically than help them. 

6. If you had to create a Wiki with a team, what would be the specific topic (s)?

The specific topics would be sports-related.

7. How can Wikis be used in the classroom or in education?

Wikis can be used in the classroom to plan and collaborate ideas and plans for schoolwork. 

Wiki Research

1. How can a wiki be used a current class on your schedule (not this course)? Pick a class and be specific how the class could create and use a Wiki on a regular basis (tip: Use the Internet, here is a good source).

My Biology class could use wikis. In his class right now, we are doing a project with a partner. We could create a wiki on a website to help the plan the project.

You can plan and collaborate ideas for schoolwork.

We can create a wiki on a website. We could contribute ideas for this class. We could use it on an on-going basis by keeping it up to date.

No much experience in creating wikis. I do use Wikipedia though.

AT&T Cancels Plans For in Flight Wi-Fi

AT&T has canceled plans to revolutionize Wi-Fi service on planes. It was planned to release in late 2015. They planned to "transform airborne connectivity." AT&T plans to spend more time on making changes to DirecTV and a Mexican phone carrier Lusacell which they purchased for $2.5 billion.

My Weekend

This weekend I did some activities with my family. On Thursday night, I went to Manhattan College for a pep rally for the basketball team. It was open to the public and to students. It was a great experience for anyone. Here is the College's Athletics website.
